A concept that works for anything- the zip lock works repeatedly most of the time but the thickness of the plastic has gotten thinner with inflation. The zips are also not quite as sturdy. I use them for everything like we all do.They WILL NOT LEAK!can't go wrong,generic baggies are horrible and u only save like 2 cents.Just greatThese can be used for anything but the kitchen sink! The slider is very easy to use and I have never had one leak on me. I always reach for Ziplock fiThese high quality bags are great for all kinds of storage needs. The zip closure provides an excellent seal.Got what I ordered: Ziploc gallon bags. (Learned not to buy generic becuz they aren't as good, especially for zipping tight, as brand name bags are.) I use these at home & traveling. But this Amazon packaging -- a bag instead of a box -- was crushed, which crushed the 2 Ziploc boxes inside. Maybe doesn't seem important, but it'll be months before I use all of them & it's bothersome to have to look at these crushed boxes. I order a LOT & expect better than this from Amazon!These are the only bags I use. It took some trial and error before I figured out how they name their closures, but now that I have, I've stocked up on these and don't think I'll EVER run out.Let me put it this way: when a baggie starts affecting your self esteem, it's time to kick it to the curb, right?Well, that's what the kind that are supposed to seal together "easily" when you "simply press the two sides together" did to me. They made me feel like an incompetent boob!I have a disability which limits my ability to grip or to hold on to things, and me and THOSE baggies would fight every time I used them. They seemed to be unzipped in parts and it drove me crazy and made me feel terrible I'd scream at it, cry and yell, "You're supposed to be easy! It looks easy on TV! Is it you or me? Please tell me! Help me understand where this relationship is going!"Then, a friend told me it sounded like I was being gaslighted. AHA! I looked it up, and the symptoms were all there! So, I dumped the old baggie, and moved on! When a baggie starts to hurt your self esteem, makes you feel bad about yourself, don't stay in that relationship a moment longer! Pick these up and don't doubt your decision! Not for a SECOND!These are fabulous! They ZIP right up (and you KNOW they're zipped), no half asked stuff like old Mr. Baggie before him (let's regret to him as "the other guy" from now on, eh?). Nope! There's a new baggie in town. And he even stands up tall and proud!*Sorry y'all! I got a lil carried away here! I think you got the point. Guess I should put the coffee down now!
